    Ethyl acetate — a clear, colorless liquid with a faint odor. Obtained by esterification of acetic acid with ethyl alcohol-raw. Good solvent for resins, fats, oils, and cellulose esters, miscible with water and organic solvents in all proportions. Ethyl acetate used in the manufacture of solvents for pigments, resins, paints, colloxylin, mastics, polyester, nitroglycerin, polyvinyl acetate lacquers, nitro - derivatives cellulose, various oils, fats, waxes, in production of phosphor lamps, films, cellophane, glues, industrial rubber products, plastics, viniliskozhi, oilcloth, imitation leather, vinyl papers, linoleum, in printing and leather - shoe industry.
